What running your program really costs
Headline prices in this category hide the two numbers that matter: what happens when you have a good month, and what it costs to actually pay your affiliates. Enter your program's monthly affiliate revenue and see the real bill on six platforms, verified against each vendor's live pages on the dates shown.
The comparison starts at $1,000 because a program at zero costs little anywhere. Prices diverge where your program succeeds.

How each number is computed
- AffiliateRail bands plans by monthly affiliate-earned revenue: Launch to $10,000, Grow to $20,000, Scale to $50,000, Enterprise above. There is no overage at any volume: crossing your band starts a week of grace to decide about the next plan, and tracking, attribution, commissions and payouts never pause. Automated payouts are included from Grow at 0% of the payout, because payouts run through your own PayPal or Wise account and never pass through us (the custody page explains why that is structural). Founding prices are what current signups pay, locked for as long as the subscription stays active.
- Tolt uses the same revenue bands. Auto payouts are included from the Growth plan and carry a 2% processing fee, plus $8 per invoice paid by bank transfer or 4% paid by card; the calculator uses the bank transfer figure, which is the cheaper of the two.
- Rewardful bands at $7,500 and $15,000, with custom pricing above. Managed Payouts carries a flat 3% processing fee paid by the merchant; affiliates may pay withdrawal fees on top, which the calculator does not add.
- FirstPromoter bands at $5,000 and $15,000, with Enterprise starting at $149 above that. Its pricing page places managed auto payouts on the Enterprise tier, and publishes no payout fee, so the payout-fee cell reads "not published" rather than a guess.
- Tapfiliate is not metered on revenue at all: plans are limited by clicks and conversions ($89 with 5,000 clicks and 500 conversions plus a 50-affiliate cap, or $179 with 100,000 and 10,000), with overages of $1 to $1.50 per 1,000 clicks and $10 to $15 per 1,000 conversions. Your bill depends on traffic rather than revenue, so no single number would be honest, and the table says so instead of inventing one.
- Affonso bands at $1,000, $10,000 and $30,000, with Enterprise from $149. Above a cap, the overage is $19 per additional $1,000 of revenue; the calculator always picks the cheaper of upgrading or paying the overage, which is the fairest reading of their pricing. Managed payouts (Growth and Elite) add a $25 invoice fee (waived on Elite), $0.50 per affiliate beyond 25, and a 3.25% Stripe payment surcharge; the calculator uses the Stripe figure their help centre lists first. Subscription figures are their published USD rates, shown as "from" because their pricing page displays local currency and yearly-billing discounts.
