What paying your affiliates costs

The plan price is the whole bill

On most platforms the plan price is the smaller half of what you pay: a percentage of every payout, or a fee per invoice, is the other half, and it grows with your success. AffiliateRail takes nothing from payouts, because it never handles them.

If your affiliates earn past your plan's band, tracking, attribution, commissions and payouts all keep running and there is no overage fee. You get a full week to decide whether to move up a plan, and during that week the only things that wait are approving brand-new partners and creating new commission flows. Growing should never feel like a penalty.

Who built this

The reason the money never touches us

AffiliateRail is built and run by Jimi Barkway, a former affiliate and email marketer who has run affiliate programs from both sides of the link. The one decision everything else follows from: the platform never holds your money. You connect your own PayPal or Wise account, AffiliateRail works out who is owed what and calls your rail with your credentials, and the payout goes from your account to your affiliate's. There is no cut to take, so none is taken.

There are no customer quotes on this page because there are no customers yet. Writing some would be the first dishonest thing on the site. What there is: the documentation, the program we run on ourselves, and a person who answers support@affiliaterail.com.

Questions about pricing

Before you pick a plan

What happens when my affiliates earn more than my plan's band?

Nothing breaks and nothing is charged. Tracking, attribution, commissions and payouts keep running, and there is no overage fee. You get a full week to decide whether to move up a plan. During that week the only things that wait are approving brand-new partners and creating new commission flows.

What counts as "earned from affiliates"?

The revenue your customers pay you that AffiliateRail attributes to an affiliate, added up over a calendar month. Revenue that did not come through an affiliate does not count towards the band, however large it is.

Why do automated payouts start on Grow, and what does Launch get?

On Grow and above, AffiliateRail calls your own PayPal or Wise account on your schedule and pays everyone who is due. On Launch you still pay from your own account, and AffiliateRail produces the batch file for you, including Payoneer's own bulk-upload shape so one upload pays the whole batch. Both routes are non-custodial and both take 0%.

Do I need Stripe?

Stripe or Paddle. Subscriptions, upgrades, cancellations and refunds flow back and correct the commission on their own. You can also record a sale through the API, or by hand from the dashboard.

How does paying a year up front work?

You pay ten months for twelve. The exact figure for each plan is on its card once you switch the toggle to a year up front. The founding price applies to the annual figure too, and it is held for as long as you stay.

What if I change my mind?

Cancel in one click at any time. After your first payment you have 30 days to ask for all of it back, no questions. Before that there is nothing to cancel, because the trial takes no card. The refund policy has the detail.

What does Enterprise mean here?

A program earning beyond the top band shown above. The product is the same; the price is worked out with you, because at that size the payout schedule and the number of programs matter more than a fixed tier. Email support@affiliaterail.com and it is a conversation, not a sales process.
