01 Stage 1
Your existing affiliate links keep working, with one redirect rule
Here is the one clever step. Komissio's links are a path on a subdomain you own, shown on their site as go.brightwell.com/r/marta (their home page, checked 6 September 2026). Our script reads tags on the URL, and a path is not a tag. But because the subdomain is yours, you can add a redirect rule at your DNS host or web server: send go.yourapp.com/r/marta to yourapp.com/?rail=marta. Our script reads rail, and the code after it is the partner's referral token. Every old link then pays the same person.
Do it on the day the script goes on. Then nobody edits a link. If you would rather drop the subdomain, each affiliate gets a new link from the portal instead, and stage 3 covers the overlap.
Said plainly
A Komissio link is a path on your own subdomain, like
go.yourapp.com/r/marta. Our script reads tags on the URL, not paths. The subdomain is yours. A redirect rule that sends
/r/martatoyourapp.com/?rail=martaturns every old link into one our script reads.Set the rule on the day you install the script. Then no affiliate edits a link.
If you drop the subdomain instead, each affiliate gets a new link from the portal, and stage 3 is the month that makes the swap painless.
