Moving from Partli to AffiliateRail

No Partli importer exists yet, so this move runs on CSV: pull your partners, commissions and payouts through Partli's API or CLI, or their data export on the Scale plan, and AffiliateRail's importer loads them with a dry run first. Deep links keep converting, because our tracker reads the via parameter Partli's snippet reads. Partli's default links redirect through partli.app and are re-issued. Plan an afternoon. Or hand it to us and we run the whole migration with you.

Moving from Partli in four stagesThe four stages of moving a program from Partli: links keep working, export and import, run both for a month, then switch payouts.1Links keepworking2Export andimport3Run bothfor a month4Switch payoutsAAn afternoon of your time, or an hour of oursNothing your affiliates published has to change.

01 Stage 1

Your existing affiliate links keep working

Two link shapes. Partli's default referral link is partli.app/r/<slug>, a redirect through their service that sets their cookie and sends the visitor on to your site (their click tracking doc, checked 4 September 2026). Their docs describe no parameter on landing, so those links are re-issued from the new portal.

Deep links, yoursite.com?via=<slug>, are read by their snippet and by ours, along with ref (their snippet doc). Those keep crediting the same affiliate from the day our script goes on.

An old affiliate link keeps workingA link published years ago carries Partli's referral parameter. The merchant's site now runs rail.js, which reads that parameter and credits the same affiliate.a link published in 2024yoursite.com/?via=janeYour site, with rail.js on itreads ?via as well as ?railCredited to Janethe same affiliate, no editsANineteen referral parameters are read, Partli’s among them.
The parameter list ships in the tracker itself. Read it in the script your own site serves.

02 Stage 2

What comes over, and how

There is no Partli importer yet, so the move runs on CSV. Partli's API and CLI list partners, commissions and payouts on every plan (their agents guide, checked 4 September 2026), and their Scale plan adds data exports. Pull them into a spreadsheet. The importer takes three files:

  • Partners: email required. The affiliate's Partli slug goes in the referral token column, so via links keep working.
  • Customers: one per referred customer, with their partner.
  • Transactions: one per payment, with the amount and date.
A dry run first, every time. Run it again and records are matched, not duplicated. One click rolls it back.

03 Stage 3

Run both for a month

Add our script beside partli.js. Both trackers run, and ours reads via links, so nothing is lost while both are on. Watch a few referrals land and compare the two dashboards.

Partli's cookie lasts 90 days (their snippet doc, checked 4 September 2026). A visitor referred two months ago still carries it. A month of overlap lets those referrals convert on the old side before you close it, and their default 30-day hold clears.

Run both for a monthA four-week timeline. The old tracker stays on for three weeks while rail.js reads both sets of links; once the two dashboards agree, the old one is switched off.week 1week 2week 3week 4their tracker, still onoffrail.js, reading both sets of linksACompare the two dashboards. When they agree, switch the old one off.

04 Stage 4

How do payouts change after the switch?

On Partli you top up a payout balance through Stripe Checkout. Partli then transfers from it to each partner's Stripe Connect Express account, by hand or on the first of the month (their payouts docs, checked 4 September 2026). Their pricing page prints a $0 platform fee. Run a final payout before cutover, so nothing is left behind.

AffiliateRail keeps the money in your own account. From the $59 Grow plan, payouts run through your own PayPal or Wise on a schedule, at 0%.

Topped up a balance before? Now the money stays in your own account. The custody page has the full difference.

In their words

What Partli's own terms say

Partli does not hold partner funds in custody; money moves directly from your Stripe balance to the partner's Stripe account. You are the merchant of record for all payouts originating from your workspace.

Partli Terms of Service, section 5, Your Partners and Their Payouts, checked 4 September 2026

Their payouts documentation, read the same day, describes the route: payouts move money from your pre-funded payout balance on Partli to each partner's Stripe Connect Express account.

Step by step

The switch, step by step

Most merchants do this in an afternoon. If you would rather hand it over, we run migrations white-glove: a screen-share and an hour, and we do the rest. Email support@affiliaterail.com.

  1. Create your program

Connect Stripe or Paddle. The connection is read-only: we read billing events to credit sales, and we cannot write to your account.

  2. Export from Partli

Partners, commissions and payouts through their API or CLI, or the data export on their Scale plan. Put each partner's slug in the referral token column.

  3. Run the CSV import

Map the columns, read the dry run, then run it. Check the counts against your Partli dashboard.

  4. Add the script and invite

Deep links credit from this moment. Affiliates on a partli.app redirect link get a new one from the portal, where their balance is already waiting.

  5. Close the old account

Run a final Partli payout so nothing is left in the balance, then remove partli.js once you have watched a few referrals land on our side.

14 days free, no card. Old links keep crediting from the day the script goes on.

Said plainly

What does not carry over

A migration page that lists only the good news is an advert. These do not come across.

  • Portal passwords

Your affiliates set a new password from their invite to the new portal. Their identity, links and balance are waiting for them. Their old login is not.

  • Visits and click logs

We import people and money, not Partli's click records. Click counting starts fresh on our side.

  • Cookies already set on visitors' devices

A visitor referred last week carries Partli's attribution, not ours. The moment they click any affiliate link again, we credit them. No vendor can transfer another vendor's cookies.

  • Redirect links

A partli.app/r/ link depends on Partli's redirect service. Deep links with via carry on. Every affiliate on a redirect link gets a new one from the portal, and stage 3 is the month that makes the swap painless.

  • Stripe Connect payout accounts

Your partners onboarded into Stripe Connect Express to be paid by Partli. On AffiliateRail they give a PayPal or Wise email in the portal. Nothing moves across.

  • Money in the payout balance

What you have topped up on Partli stays there for a final run. We cannot move it, and neither can any other vendor.

Cost

What the same program costs on each

Partli is flat and AffiliateRail is banded, so the table runs by revenue. Checked against Partli's pricing page on 4 September 2026. Starter is $29 a month, or $23 billed yearly, with one workspace, three seats and unlimited partners, programs and sales. Growth is $79, or $63 yearly, with five workspaces and ten seats. Scale is $149, or $119 yearly. Every tier prints a $0 platform fee on payouts.

Monthly revenue from affiliatesPartliAffiliateRail foundingAffiliateRail list
$5,000$29 (Starter), or $23 billed yearly$29 (Launch)$59
$10,000$29 (Starter), or $23 billed yearly$29 (Launch)$59
$15,000$29 (Starter), or $23 billed yearly$59 (Grow)$89
$20,000$29 (Starter), or $23 billed yearly$59 (Grow)$89
$50,000$29 (Starter), or $23 billed yearly$99 (Scale)$179

Above $10,000 a month Partli's flat $29 is the cheaper plan, and this page says so. Neither side prints a percentage of payouts. Partli's docs describe $4 a month per paid partner over a plan limit that is not printed, so ask them what yours is. Run the totals at your own volume.

Questions

Common questions

Will my affiliates' Partli links keep working?

The deep links will. A link like yoursite.com?via=slug is read by our tracker, along with ref and aff, from the day the script goes on your site. Partli's default partli.app/r/ link is a redirect through their service, and their docs describe no parameter on landing, so those affiliates get a new link from the portal.

Is there a Partli importer?

Not yet. The importer reads Rewardful, FirstPromoter, Tapfiliate, Tolt and Affonso directly, and takes a CSV from anything else. Partli's API and CLI list partners, commissions and payouts on every plan, and their Scale plan has data exports, so the export is a command away. We build a direct importer when a customer asks for one.

What happens to the balance I topped up on Partli?

It stays on Partli. Run a final payout there before you cut over, so what is owed reaches your partners and nothing is left in the balance. We cannot move it, and neither can any other vendor.

How long does the switch take?

Most merchants do it in an afternoon. If you would rather hand it over, give us a screen-share and an hour and we do the rest.
