Switching

Moving from Endorsely to AffiliateRail

There is no Endorsely importer yet, so this runs on CSV. Endorsely's docs cover importing affiliates and say nothing about exporting them, so the first step is asking their support for your data. The importer does a practice run first. Published links keep paying, because our script reads the via tag Endorsely uses. The payout side changes less than on most switches: neither tool prints a fee. What changes is that you will be the one paying, from your own PayPal or Wise, on a schedule. Plan an afternoon. Or hand it to us.

Moving from Endorsely in four stagesThe four stages of moving a program from Endorsely: links keep working, export and import, run both for a month, then switch payouts.1Links keepworking2Export andimport3Run bothfor a month4Switch payoutsAAn afternoon of your time, or an hour of oursNothing your affiliates published has to change.

01 Stage 1

Your existing affiliate links keep working

Endorsely's home page says affiliates share links with a via tag and no redirect (their home page, checked 6 September 2026). Our script reads via too, plus eighteen other platforms' tags. So a link a partner posted two years ago pays the same person from the day our script goes on.

One thing to check. Endorsely's affiliate sign-up page can live on their domain on the free plan. Any link pointing there, rather than at your site, needs replacing with the new portal's address.

An old affiliate link keeps workingA link published years ago carries Endorsely's referral parameter. The merchant's site now runs rail.js, which reads that parameter and credits the same affiliate.a link published in 2024yoursite.com/?via=janeYour site, with rail.js on itreads ?via as well as ?railCredited to Janethe same affiliate, no editsANineteen referral parameters are read, Endorsely’s among them.
The parameter list ships in the tracker itself. Read it in the script your own site serves.

02 Stage 2

What comes over, and how

There is no Endorsely importer yet, so the move runs on CSV. Endorsely's docs describe inviting affiliates by CSV import (their docs, checked 6 September 2026) and say nothing about an export. So write to their support and ask for your affiliates, referred customers and commissions as a spreadsheet before you start. The importer takes three files:

  • Partners: email required. Put each partner's Endorsely via slug in the referral token column. That is what keeps old links working.
  • Customers: one per referred customer, with their partner.
  • Transactions: one per payment, with the amount and date.
A practice run first, every time. Run it again and records are matched, not duplicated. One click rolls it back.

03 Stage 3

Run both for a month

Run both for a month. Compare sales, not clicks. The two scripts will never agree on clicks, and that gap is not a fault.

If you are on Endorsely's free plan there is no bill to stop, so there is no rush. Close the old account once one full payout run has finished on the new side.

Run both for a monthA four-week timeline. The old tracker stays on for three weeks while rail.js reads both sets of links; once the two dashboards agree, the old one is switched off.week 1week 2week 3week 4their tracker, still onoffrail.js, reading both sets of linksACompare the two dashboards. When they agree, switch the old one off.

04 Stage 4

How do payouts change after the switch?

This part changes less than usual.

On Endorsely, payouts are bulk payouts via PayPal with no commission fee printed. Their pages do not say whether the money passes through Endorsely first.

On AffiliateRail you connect your own PayPal or Wise. AffiliateRail logs in on your schedule and pays from there. The money goes from you to your partner and never through us, so the fee is 0%. Your partners enter their payout details again, because those belong to whoever pays them.

Now the money leaves your own account on a schedule, and the fee is 0%. The custody page has both models side by side.

In their words

What Endorsely's own terms say

Affiliates use referral links with simple “?via=” referral tags without any redirects, that help your SEO so you rank higher

Endorsely home page, checked 6 September 2026

This is why the links survive the move. A via tag on your own domain is one our script reads, and there is no redirect to break.

Step by step

The switch, step by step

Three words first, because the steps use them. A dry run is a practice import that writes nothing. It tells you what it would have created. A referral token is the bit inside an affiliate link that names the partner. Keeping each partner's old one is why published links carry on working. Attribution is the job of deciding which partner gets credited for a sale. Most merchants do this in an afternoon. If you would rather hand it over, we run migrations white-glove. A screen-share and an hour, and we do the rest. We finish inside two working days of getting your details. Email support@affiliaterail.com.

  1. Create your program

Connect Stripe or Paddle. The link is read-only. We read billing events to credit sales. We cannot write to your account.

  2. Ask Endorsely for your data

Affiliates, referred customers and commissions, as a spreadsheet. Keep each partner's via slug. It is what keeps their old links paying.

  3. Practice-run the import

Map the columns. Read the counts. Check them against your Endorsely dashboard. Only run it for real when they match.

  4. Install the script

From now on every old Endorsely link to your own site pays its partner, because our script reads via. Nobody edits a link.

  5. Invite partners, then overlap

Send the email. Run both for a month. Watch one payout run finish on the new side before you close Endorsely.

14 days free, no card. Old links keep crediting from the day the script goes on.

Said plainly

What does not carry over

A migration page that lists only the good news is an advert. These do not come across.

  • Portal passwords

Your affiliates set a new one from their invite. Their identity, links and balance are waiting. Their old login is not.

  • The sign-up page on Endorsely's domain

If your affiliate sign-up page lived at Endorsely's address, links to it stop. The new portal is on your own domain.

  • The affiliate finder

Endorsely's finder is theirs. Affiliates you found with it stay yours. The tool does not come with you, and AffiliateRail has no equal.

  • Lemon Squeezy

AffiliateRail reads Stripe and Paddle. A program billed through Lemon Squeezy cannot connect its billing here.

  • Raw click logs

People and money move. Click-by-click traffic does not. Click counting starts fresh.

  • Payout details and tax forms

Bank details belong to whoever pays, and that is about to be you. Collect fresh W-9 and W-8BEN forms too. The payer has changed.

Cost

What the same program costs on each

Endorsely and AffiliateRail both band on monthly affiliate revenue, and neither prints a payout fee. So this table is plan prices only, and it shows something the other switch guides do not: Endorsely is cheaper at the bottom. Checked against Endorsely's pricing page on 6 September 2026.

Monthly revenue from affiliatesEndorselyAffiliateRail foundingAffiliateRail list
$1,000Free (Starter)$29 (Launch)$59
$5,000$39 (Pro)$29 (Launch)$59
$10,000$99 (Scale)$29 (Launch)$59
$40,000No printed price (Enterprise)$99 (Scale)$179

Under $1,000 a month, stay on Endorsely. It is free and you are not paying anyone yet. The lines cross near $5,000 a month, and above $20,000 Endorsely stops printing a price. What the table cannot show is Endorsely's affiliate finder. AffiliateRail has nothing like it. If that is why you are on Endorsely, stay.

Questions

Common questions

Will my affiliates' Endorsely links keep working?

Links to your own site will. Endorsely uses a via tag with no redirect. Our script reads via too, plus eighteen other platforms' tags. Those links pay the same partner from the day the script goes on. Links to a sign-up page on Endorsely's domain stop, so re-issue those first.

How do I get my data out of Endorsely?

Ask their support. Their docs describe importing affiliates by CSV and say nothing about exporting. You want three spreadsheets: affiliates, referred customers, and commissions. Keep each affiliate's via slug in the first one.

Should I move at all if I am under $1,000 a month?

Probably not yet. Endorsely is free there and AffiliateRail is $29. Move when the program earns, or when you want a printed price past $20,000, or when you want to know whose account the payouts leave from.

Do partners have to do anything?

Two things. Set a password from their invite. Enter their payout details, because those belong to whoever pays them, and that becomes you. Their links, customers and balance are already there. One email covers it.
