Your affiliates come across through Affonso's API or a CSV. Links carrying Affonso's parameters or the common generic ones keep converting. The money model changes: no overage on a good month, and payouts through your own PayPal or Wise at 0% instead of a managed-payout invoice. One thing up front, because it is true: below $1,000 a month of affiliate revenue, Affonso is cheaper than anything we sell. This page is for programs that have grown past that.

01 Stage 1
Our tracker reads Affonso's own parameters (affonso, atp). It also reads the generic ones many Affonso programs use (via, ref, aff). A link in any format an Affonso program uses keeps crediting the same affiliate from the day you add our script. Nobody edits anything.
02 Stage 2
Paste an Affonso API key once. The importer pulls your affiliates, their referrals and their commission history, with the same identities. Decimal amounts become exact minor units at the boundary. Statuses translate one for one. Anything it refuses is named in the run's report, never skipped in silence.
A CSV export of your partners works as the fallback if you would rather not hand over a key.
03 Stage 3
Add our script beside Affonso's. Both trackers run, and ours reads Affonso's links, so nothing is lost while both are on. Watch a few referrals land and compare the two dashboards.
There is no required overlap. A day or two costs nothing. A month costs nothing either. It lets you see a full payout cycle on our side before you close the old account.
04 Stage 4
Affonso's managed payouts, on Growth and Elite, work by invoice. A $25 service fee per monthly invoice (waived on Elite). $0.50 per affiliate beyond 25. A surcharge of 3.25% via Stripe or 2.8% via Revolut. Your affiliates are paid after your invoice clears (their help centre, checked 1 September 2026).
AffiliateRail's automated payouts run through your own PayPal Business or Wise Business account, on your schedule. We take 0% of them. Your money never passes through us. The whole argument is on the custody page.
Step by step
Three words first, because the steps use them. A dry run is a practice import that writes nothing. It tells you what it would have created. A referral token is the bit inside an affiliate link that names the partner. Keeping each partner's old one is why published links carry on working. Attribution is the job of deciding which partner gets credited for a sale. Most merchants do this in an afternoon. If you would rather hand it over, we run migrations white-glove. A screen-share and an hour, and we do the rest. We finish inside two working days of getting your details. Email support@affiliaterail.com.
Connect Stripe. The connection is read-only: we read subscription events to credit sales, and we cannot write to your Stripe account.

Said plainly

A visitor referred last week carries Affonso's attribution, not ours. The moment they click any affiliate link again, we credit them. No vendor can transfer another vendor's cookies.
Affonso runs an affiliate marketplace. AffiliateRail does not have one. If marketplace discovery is a live channel for you today, weigh that before switching, because we will not replace it.
Cost
Affonso's pricing is the reason people choose it and the reason people leave it. Both deserve a straight look. Their published rates are $15 Launch up to $1,000 a month of affiliate revenue, $39 Growth up to $10,000, $99 Elite up to $30,000, and Enterprise from $149 above that (their pricing guide, checked 1 September 2026; their pricing page shows local currency and yearly-billing discounts). Over your plan's cap, the overage is $19 per additional $1,000 of affiliate revenue, billed at the end of the cycle. Their help centre notes that tracking and affiliate signups can pause once the cap is exceeded, until you upgrade or the overage is paid (their FAQ, checked the same day).

Above that, the overage becomes the real price. $19 per $1,000 is a 1.9% marginal rate on your best months. AffiliateRail has no overage at any volume.
