Alternatives

Dub alternatives for SaaS founders

Founders weigh Dub against AffiliateRail, Tolt, Rewardful, FirstPromoter and Tapfiliate. One question sorts them. Does the tool take a cut of what you pay your affiliates? Dub takes 5% on top of $90 a month. Tolt takes 2% plus an invoice fee. Rewardful takes 3% on managed payouts. AffiliateRail and several others take nothing, because they never touch the money.

The shortlist

What are the main Dub alternatives?

People look past Dub for one of two reasons. The $90 start is more than an early SaaS wants to pay. Or the payout fee grows uncomfortably once the program works. A payout fee is a slice the tool takes out of the money you send your partners. Dub's is 5%. If price is the problem, flat-fee tools start at $29. If the percentage is the problem, ask any alternative one thing: who actually moves the money? A tool that pays your partners will charge for it. A tool that does not, cannot. The rest, tracking and portals and tax forms, is much the same everywhere. A payout fee is a slice the tool takes out of the money you send your partners. It sits on top of the plan price.

So we take 0% of every payout, on every plan. There is no cut to take when the money never arrives. The custody page has every platform's own position, with sources.

Choosing

How should a SaaS founder choose between them?

Dub's real cost is two numbers. Judge its rivals on the same two, not on feature lists.

First

Who moves the money?

A tool that pays your partners takes a cut for it. One that logs into your own PayPal or Wise cannot, because the money never reaches it. That single fact explains nearly every price gap here.

Second

What is the bill once it works?

Multiply your monthly payout by the fee. Add the plan price. A percentage that looks tiny at $2,000 is your biggest line at $20,000.

Third

Do you need the marketplace?

Dub's marketplace and in-app dashboard are good, and nobody else at this price has them. If that is why you want Dub, no cheaper tool replaces it. Pay for it.

Questions

Common questions

What is the cheapest alternative to Dub?

Flat-fee tools start near $29 a month against Dub's $90. Several print no payout fee at all. The saving is bigger than the plan prices suggest, because Dub's 5% grows with you. The calculator prices every tool on this page on your own numbers.

Is there a free alternative to Dub?

Two tools have real free plans. Both stop near $1,000 of monthly affiliate revenue. A spreadsheet with one Stripe code per affiliate costs nothing at all. Dub's own free plan is its link product. Partner programs start at $90.

Which Dub alternative is best on Stripe?

Nearly all of them read Stripe natively, so this rarely decides it. What differs is how partners get paid, and what that costs. Decide if you want the tool to move your money. Then pick.
