Ambassly alternatives for SaaS founders

The platforms SaaS founders weigh against Ambassly are AffiliateRail, Tolt, Rewardful, FirstPromoter, Tapfiliate, Affonso, PromoteKit, Partnero, Trackdesk and Partli. Most band by revenue where Ambassly does not. They differ on whether payouts run themselves, and on whether the platform takes a cut.

The shortlist

What are the main Ambassly alternatives?

Ambassly's three flat prices and its payout-by-export set the terms, so its alternatives are measured against that. Tolt, Rewardful and FirstPromoter are the established Stripe-native tools, banded by revenue. PromoteKit and Affonso are the cheap entries. Partnero and Partli are flat like Ambassly. Tapfiliate and Trackdesk reach past SaaS. AffiliateRail is the one that runs the payout from your own account. Here is each one's published entry price and what it is good at.

1

Tracking rides the Stripe or Paddle reference field. The portal comes in thirteen languages on your own domain. The tracking script reads other platforms' referral parameters, so old links keep converting through a migration.

01 Custody

Who holds the money when affiliates get paid?

AffiliateRail never holds it. You connect your own PayPal or Wise account. We work out who is owed what and tell your account to pay. The money goes from you to your affiliate and never passes through us.

So we take 0% of every payout, on every plan. There is no cut to take when the money never arrives. The custody page has every platform's own position, with sources.

02 The product

What does the product look like?

One dashboard for the program: affiliates, referrals, commissions and payouts. Your affiliates get a portal on your own domain, in thirteen languages, from the $29 plan.

Tracking rides the Stripe or Paddle reference field, not a cookie an ad blocker can drop. Payouts run from your own PayPal or Wise account on a schedule. The founder answers support.

What Ambassly's own terms say

We compute and display commissions; the decision to approve, reject, or pay any commission is yours. Ambassly does not itself pay your affiliates.

Choosing

How should a SaaS founder choose between them?

Start with the question Ambassly answers with a file and most platforms answer differently. Then ask the two the pricing pages skip.

First

Who does the payout work?

On Ambassly you export and upload a file each payout run. Some alternatives run the payout for you, from your own account or from theirs. Decide how much of that you want to do by hand.

Second

What does it cost to pay an affiliate?

Ambassly prints nothing, because the export goes to your own PayPal. Several alternatives take a percentage or a fee per invoice once payouts are automated. A $30 difference in plan price is smaller than that.

Then

Whose account holds the money?

If a platform runs the payout, ask whose account the money sits in during the run. That decides who carries the risk if a batch fails halfway.

Questions

Common questions

What is the cheapest Ambassly alternative?

On published entry prices, Affonso at $15 a month to $1,000 of affiliate revenue, then AffiliateRail and Partli at $29 a month. Ambassly's own $39 has no revenue ceiling, so above $10,000 a month it is cheaper than the banded ones for a program under 50 active affiliates. The true-cost calculator compares the real monthly bill on eleven platforms at your revenue.

Which Ambassly alternative runs payouts for me without taking a cut?

AffiliateRail sends the payout from your own PayPal or Wise account on a schedule, from the $59 plan, and takes 0%. Partnero automates PayPal and Wise from your own account with no Partnero fee. Partli transfers through Stripe Connect from a balance you top up first. The custody page has each platform's own published position.

Can I move my affiliates from Ambassly to another platform?

Yes. Export your affiliates and their ledger from Ambassly and import the CSV. AffiliateRail's importer dry-runs first and can roll back. Its tracking script reads Ambassly's via and ref parameters, so published links keep converting through the cutover.
