What is PartnerStack, and who is it for?
In shortPartnerStack is partner program software for B2B SaaS. It is built around a network of more than 117,000 B2B partners. Its Spark plan is $0 a month plus 10% of every commission you pay out, and it does not include the network. Launch, Growth and Enterprise are priced on a demo. It pays partners from one invoice you pay to PartnerStack. The partners then withdraw from their own dashboard.
The research method was simple. This review is built from PartnerStack's Spark page, pricing page, support centre and developer docs, read on 6 September 2026. No third-party review scores, no user quotes. Each section says what the pages say and where a claim was not on them. I found two things. The one published price is a fee, not a plan. And the network most founders come for sits on the plans the page does not price. AffiliateRail appears once in the body, at the end, as an alternative with its own trade-offs.
Three words first. A payout fee is a slice the platform takes out of the money you send your partners. A partner network is a pool of people already signed up to promote software, which you can invite into your program. And a demo-priced plan is one whose price is agreed on a sales call rather than printed. Those three are most of PartnerStack's pricing page.
Spark does not include access to the PartnerStack Network of more than 117,000 B2B partners.
| Plan | Price | Payout fee | What the page lists |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spark | $0 a month | 10% of every commission paid out | Single user, simplified tracking links, simple commission offers, simple sale tracking via Stripe, partner application management, automated payouts, performance dashboard, custom domain. No access to the network |
| Launch | Demo | Not published | Link tracking or lead and deal registration, Marketplace access, PartnerStack AI and MCP connector, partner payments, enablement tools, CRM integrations |
| Growth | Demo | Not published | Launch plus an LMS, challenges and incentives, MDF management and payments, advanced segmentation |
| Enterprise | Demo | Not published | Priced on program size, feature needs and level of support |
What does PartnerStack cost?
In shortSpark is $0 a month plus 10% of every commission you pay out. "That's it. You only pay when your partners make you money." The other three plans carry no price. "Your final plan and pricing are confirmed during your demo." So the only figure a founder can read is the 10%. On $2,500 of monthly payouts that is $250.
Let's say your partners earn $500 in a month. PartnerStack's fee is $50. At $2,500 it is $250. At $12,500 it is $1,250. There is no band and no plan step on Spark. So the fee rises in a straight line with what you pay. The PartnerStack pricing page on this site walks the crossovers. The short version is this. Below about $250 of monthly payouts, Spark costs less than any paid plan on the calculator. Above $2,500 it is among the dearest.
On partners: "Is there a limit to how many partners I can have? No." On the plans above Spark, the page prints what each adds and not what it costs. Launch includes link tracking or lead and deal registration, Marketplace access, the PartnerStack AI and MCP connector, partner payments, CRM integrations and enablement tools. Growth adds an LMS, challenges and incentives, MDF management and payments, and advanced segmentation.
What is the network, and who gets it?
In shortA pool of B2B partners already on PartnerStack, open to programs on the higher plans. The Spark page: "Spark does not include access to the PartnerStack Network of more than 117,000 B2B partners." So the free plan tracks and pays. The network sits on the demo-priced plans. Marketplace access is listed from Launch.
This is the row that separates PartnerStack from the tools that only track and pay. PartnerStack's pitch is the pool. Its pages do not print how many partners a program gains from it. This review does not guess. The article on where affiliates come from sets marketplaces beside the other routes, with the activation data.
How does PartnerStack pay partners?
In shortThrough PartnerStack. "Automate commission payouts, so you only pay one invoice while we ensure your partners get paid on time, every time." Commissions accrue all month. On the final day the list goes to you for review. Partners see "Pending approval" until you approve. Then they withdraw with at least $5, around the 13th of the following month, by Stripe, PayPal or direct deposit.
The support centre's own words. "Commissions are held in your account as "Pending approval" until the company you are partnered with has reviewed them." That is the hold. Then: "Once your commissions have been approved and paid for by companies, your funds will be available for cash out on the Commissions page." That is the release. And: "You must have at least $5 USD in commissions in order to withdraw." That is the floor.
So the money passes through PartnerStack on every plan, Spark included. You pay one invoice. PartnerStack holds the funds and the partners draw on them. There is no export-and-pay-yourself route printed on the Spark page. A payer of record is whoever's name is on the payment, and here it is not yours. The automatic payouts page sets this route beside the others. The hold-period page covers the monthly cycle.
How does the tracking work?
In shortA redirect link and a first-party cookie. Partner links look like companyName.grsm.io/PartnerABC and redirect to your page. On landing, the snippet reads PartnerStack's parameters and writes first-party cookies. "All referral links place a cookie within the customer/referrals' browser and it remains active for 90 days." Sales come from Stripe on Spark.
The parameters, from the developer docs. On landing PartnerStack appends gspk and gsxid, and also ps_partner_key and ps_xid. The first of each pair is a Base64-encoded partner key. The second is a session id. The snippet decodes them into first-party cookies named growSumoPartnerKey and ps_partner_key. A cookie window is how long after a click a sale still counts, and here it is 90 days.
Two things follow from the redirect. The link a partner publishes carries PartnerStack's domain, not yours. The cookieless tracking article covers what Safari does with that. The switch guide covers the ps_partner_key parameter and how links keep working after a move.
The API is public. It "enforces a rate limit of 4000 requests per minute per IP address". On authentication: "The Partner API uses API key to authenticate requests, and accepts it via Bearer authentication." Partner and Vendor APIs authenticate separately. Endpoints include creating a transaction and converting a customer, with webhooks. The API comparison has it beside ten others.
What should you check before you buy?
In shortFour things. What your partners will earn in a typical month, because a tenth of it is the Spark bill. Whether you need the network, because Spark does not include it. Whether you are content for the money to pass through the platform, because no other route is printed. And, if you take the demo, the plan price and the payout fee together, in writing.
For example, imagine a SaaS with three partners earning $200 a month between them. Spark costs $20. Now imagine a program that works, with partners earning $5,000 a month. Spark costs $500. That is more than Tolt's Pro plan and its fee together. Now imagine you want the pool of partners. That is a demo, and the price is whatever is agreed there.
Who should pick PartnerStack, and who should look elsewhere?
In shortPick it if the network is the reason, and you are ready for a sales call to price it. Pick Spark if your payouts are small and you want $0 up front. Look elsewhere if you want a printed price on the plan you will use. Look elsewhere if you pay out more than about $600 a month and want a flat bill. And look elsewhere if you want the payment to leave your own account with your own name on it.
The side-by-side pages go further. AffiliateRail vs PartnerStack sets the two beside each other. The alternatives round-up lists every tool this site has priced beside it. And the partner program software page covers the wider category.
An alternative, with its own trade-offs. AffiliateRail is $29 a month founding to $10,000 a month from affiliates, then $59 to $20,000, then $99 to $50,000. It takes 0% of every payout. It pays partners from your own PayPal or Wise on a schedule, from the $59 plan. So the money never passes through the tool, and your name stays on the payment. It has no partner network and no marketplace. It has no free plan. Its script reads the ps_partner_key parameter, so links published on PartnerStack keep converting after a move. The comparison page sets the two side by side. The switch guide covers the export.
A printed price, 0% of every payout, from $29 a month
