FirstPromoter pricing in 2026: the $5,000 band, the payout routes, and the bill at four sizes

By Jimi Barkway · Published 7 September 2026 · Part of the comparison pages

In brief

FirstPromoter is $49 a month to $5,000 of affiliate revenue, $99 to $15,000, and from $149 above that with more tiers on a call. 14 days free with no card. The subscription takes 0% of payouts and the page prints no payout fee. One-click payouts from your own PayPal or Stripe run on Business and above. Managed auto payouts need Enterprise 2 and a review. On that route FirstPromoter pays the affiliates from one invoice, at no fee to the merchant right now. The first band is the narrowest of the three revenue-banded tools on this cluster.

What does FirstPromoter cost?

In short$49, $99 or from $149 a month, banded by how much your affiliates generate. Starter covers up to $5,000 a month, and Business covers up to $15,000. Enterprise starts at $149 above that, with more tiers on a call. Every plan includes a 14-day trial with no card. The subscription takes 0% of payouts, and FirstPromoter publishes no fee on its managed payout route, which needs its Enterprise 2 plan.

The research method was straightforward. I read FirstPromoter's pricing page and help centre on 7 September 2026, then ran it through the calculator on this site. Four sizes of program. I found that FirstPromoter's first band is the narrowest of the three revenue-banded tools on this cluster, so its $49 becomes $99 sooner than Rewardful's or Tolt's. This page is only about price. The FirstPromoter review covers what each plan does.

Three words first. A revenue band is the range of monthly affiliate revenue a plan covers before the next plan applies. A payout fee is a slice the platform takes out of the money you send your affiliates, on top of the plan. And managed auto payouts is FirstPromoter's route where you pay one invoice and FirstPromoter pays the affiliates. Those three determine the bill.

How do the bands work?

In shortThe plan you require depends on the revenue your affiliates generate monthly. Starter finishes at $5,000, and Business finishes at $15,000. Above that, Enterprise from $149, and the page says "More Enterprise tiers available" and "Let's Talk". So the price doubles at $5,000 and rises again at $15,000.

Let's say your affiliates generate $4,000 a month, which places you on Starter at $49. At $6,000 you have passed $5,000 and are on Business at $99. At $12,000 you remain on Business, and at $18,000 you are on Enterprise, from $149. The first band is the thing to plan around. Rewardful's extends to $7,500 and Tolt's to $10,000, while FirstPromoter's finishes at $5,000.

There is no overage. An overage is what a platform charges when you pass your band without moving up, and the page prints none. Two counts can move you up before the revenue does. Starter has 3 campaigns and 1,000 affiliates. Business has unlimited campaigns and unlimited affiliates. The websites row prints 2 and 3 without saying which plan gets which. A founder with four products at four rates is on Business for the count.

What do annual billing, the trial and the refund look like?

In shortThe pricing page has monthly and yearly toggles, and no discount figure appears in the text read for this page. The trial is printed on both the pricing and features pages: "14-days free trial. No credit card required". A refund policy is not in the pricing page text captured for this page. The FAQ heading "How long are your contracts?" sits behind a click the capture did not open.

So this page counts the year at twelve times the month. Starter is $588 and Business is $1,188. If the yearly toggle discounts that, the figure is on the page and not in this capture. This page does not guess at it.

Three checks before you start the trial. First, which band you will cross first. Read your last three months of affiliate revenue and see where $5,000 falls. It falls sooner here than on Rewardful or Tolt. Second, whether three campaigns and two websites are sufficient, because a fourth product moves you to Business regardless of revenue. Third, whether you will ever want the managed route, which is a tier the page does not price. Record the three answers. The remainder of this page is arithmetic on them.

What do managed auto payouts cost?

In shortNothing to the merchant, right now. The help centre: "There is no additional fees for you right now". You pay "a single invoice" by bank, and FirstPromoter pays the affiliates "through Dots.dev". Affiliates pay the withdrawal fee, "ex. fixed $0.75 bank withdrawal for US". The route needs Enterprise 2 and a review: "This feature is activated after we review your account."

The conditions are printed. "Your account plan is Enterprise 2 or higher", "You are a SaaS company", and a list of excluded businesses. So the managed route is three things. A from-$149 plan. A tier the page does not price. And a review. So the calculator shows FirstPromoter's automated bill as "from $149, fee not published" at every size.

The other routes are on lower plans. "There are 3 ways to process payouts." One-click through PayPal or Stripe Payouts, from your own account. That needs Business and above, with PayPal's Payouts API enabled. Externally in bulk, from a CSV you upload. Externally one by one, on any plan with a personal PayPal. So a founder on Starter pays affiliates one by one from a personal PayPal, in the help centre's words. A founder on Business can pay them in one click or in bulk from their own account. No fee from FirstPromoter either way.

What is the whole bill at four sizes?

In shortSubscription only: $49 at $2,000 of monthly affiliate revenue, $99 at $10,000, from $149 at $20,000 and at $50,000. With managed auto payouts: from $149 at every size, fee not published, because the route needs Enterprise 2. Pay from your own account instead and the bill is the first row.

Here is the arithmetic at $10,000. Your affiliates earn $2,500. The plan is Business at $99, because $10,000 is past $5,000. Pay them one-click from your own PayPal and the bill is $99. Want FirstPromoter to hold and send the money? That is Enterprise 2, from $149 and up, on a call. At $2,000 the plan is Starter at $49, the lowest sticker price of the three revenue-banded tools alongside Rewardful.

For example, imagine a Chargebee SaaS at $4,000 a month from affiliates with a dozen partners. Starter at $49 covers it, and you pay them one by one. Now imagine it grows to $6,000. You are on Business at $99, and one-click PayPal payouts from your own account come with it. Now imagine you would rather never touch a payout. That is a conversation about Enterprise 2. Until then, the one-click route from your own account is the closest thing, and it costs nothing from FirstPromoter.

One more thing about the plan table. Most of its rows are tick marks the page does not print as text. So this page cannot say which plan tax-form collection, email automation or the powered-by removal land on. The review names the rows without assigning them. Before you pick a plan for one of those rows, read the table on FirstPromoter's own page and check the tick. A row you assumed was on Starter may be the reason you are on Business.

How does it compare on price?

In shortFirstPromoter matches Rewardful at $49 and $99, but its first band ends at $5,000 against Rewardful's $7,500 and Tolt's $10,000. So between $5,000 and $7,500 it is the dearest of the three. From $15,000 it is from $149 alongside Rewardful, while Tolt holds $99 to $20,000. At $12,000 all three are $99.

On the payout fee, FirstPromoter is the odd one out. Tolt's managed route is 2% plus $8 an invoice from $99. Rewardful's is 3% on any plan by request. Dub's is 5%. FirstPromoter's is $0 to the merchant, on an Enterprise tier the page does not price, after a review. The pricing comparison sets all twenty platforms side by side, and the cheapest page ranks them.

A word on this site's own product, with its trade-offs. AffiliateRail is $29 a month founding to $10,000 of affiliate revenue, then $59 to $20,000, then $99 to $50,000. It takes 0% of every payout on every route. Automated payouts run from the $59 plan through your own PayPal or Wise, with no tier gate and no review. Its first band is twice FirstPromoter's. It reads Stripe and Paddle Billing only, so a Chargebee, Braintree or Recurly merchant should stay with FirstPromoter. Founding prices are maintained while the subscription remains active, and there are ten founding places.

$49 on Starter up to $5,000 a month of revenue from affiliates. $99 on Business up to $15,000. From $149 on Enterprise above that, with more Enterprise tiers on a call. A yearly toggle exists with no discount figure in the text read, so a year is counted at $588 and $1,188.

Does FirstPromoter charge a percentage of payouts?

No fee is printed. One-click payouts through PayPal or Stripe Payouts run from your own account on Business and above. Managed auto payouts need Enterprise 2 and a review. On that route FirstPromoter pays affiliates from one invoice through Dots.dev, with no additional fee to the merchant right now. Affiliates pay the withdrawal fee.

Is there a free trial and a refund?

A 14-day free trial with no credit card, printed twice on the pricing page. A refund policy is not on the pricing page; the FAQ heading on contracts sits behind a click the capture did not open.

When does FirstPromoter get expensive?

At $5,000 a month of affiliate revenue, where Starter's $49 becomes Business's $99, sooner than Rewardful ($7,500) or Tolt ($10,000). And at $15,000, where Business becomes Enterprise from $149. A fourth campaign moves you up regardless of revenue.
